Ryobi Power Tools for Home & Garden
Company profile, and popular sellers
Ryobi power tools are the product of a forward-thinking, innovative company. In 1992, Ryobi North America announced the development of a new gas engine that was the first to meet all the proposed clean air emissions standards of the time. It was a significant breakthrough at the time, but Ryobi’s focus on minimizing pollution is even more important in today’s post-Kyoto world. The Ryobi Pro4Mor engine, nicknamed the CleanAir Engine, uses thirty per cent less fuel than others of the same type. Ryobi now uses it to power its string trimmers and brush cutters. These are great for gardeners who want a fuel-efficient engine in their power tools. The garden tools have other great features too: for example, the 25.5cc Petrol Hedge Trimmer has a five-position rotating handle, an instant stop brake and a diaphragm carburettor (allowing the motor to keep working whatever angle you’re using the tool at). The 32cc Professional Brush Cutter has an adjustable handle, a diaphragm carburettor and anti-vibration rubber mounting on the engine.
Ryobi power tools for the garden include a range of cordless outdoor tools. For example, the 14.4 volt cordless COMBO Line Trimmer and Hedge Trimmer features an adjustable twist collar. This allows you to alter the shaft length, making it a more versatile item. There is also a wraparound handle to make the trimmer comfortable for right-handers and left-handers. If you need a fast cutting speed, take a look at the 18 volt cordless Line Trimmer, which can do 9000 RPM.
However, Ryobi don’t just make power tools for the garden. There is also a wide range of Ryobi power tools for the home. Grinders, cutters, sanders, routers and saws are all Ryobi products. There is also a range of cordless Ryobi power tools for indoors, including the magnificent Cordless Rotary Hammer. This is a fast driller, getting through concrete and masonry in very little time. The maximum drilling capacity is 20mm through wood, 13mm through steel and 20mm through masonry. It goes at 1000 RPM.
