Milwaukee Power Tools - Company Profile
Milwaukee's popular sellers
Milwaukee power tools are manufactured by a company with a long history of tool-making: 80 years, to be precise. Despite its all-American name, the company now has a more international flavor; it’s owned by Hong Kong’s Techtronic Industries, also known as TTI.Milwaukee make an impressive range of products, including drills, saws and grinders. This includes a number of cordless Milwaukee power tools, such as cordless caulking guns, drills, hammers and circular saws. It’s also possible to buy “Cordless Combo Kits”, containing a combination of products. For example, the 18V ½” Lok-Tor Hammer-Drill & Sawzall Combo Kit contains Lok-Tor products in a handy carry case. The cordless products also benefit from having a compact size, even though batteries are included. ( Battery life varies depending on the power of the cordless model.)
In spring 2005, Milwaukee produced two exciting new products in the Super Sawzall reciprocating saw range. These reciprocating saws have a variable speed trigger and high durability. One of the models has a 360-degree rotating handle that locks at 45-degree increments. This can rotate in both directions, cutting out the need to go back to the starting position. Both saws are counter-balanced for ease of use and to cut down on vibration. They also have ergonomic cushioned handles. There is also a gear-protecting clutch on both saws, designed to absorb shocks and thereby extend the life of the tool.
As well as Milwaukee power tools, the company makes accessories for use with your electrical kit. If using your power tools is thirsty work, you might want Milwaukee accessory no. 168, a silver can cooler. It’s also possible to buy baseball caps, watches and keyrings.
