Louisville Ladders are the second biggest manufacturer in the United States of America, and the only company that manufactures ladders in four different types of materials – wood, aluminum, fiberglass and steel.Established in 1946, the company now has several types of ladders amongst their product range including step ladders, twin front ladders, platform ladders, rolling ladders, trestle ladders, extension ladders, stages, and rolling work stands and scaffolds.
As well as manufacturing ladders, Louisville offers the C.L.I.M.B. Academy Safety Program which is a learning/teaching resource for ladder safety in the home and workplace. The program includes an instructional video and handbook that teach the proper use of step and extension ladders, rolling warehouse ladders and rolling tower scaffolds; as well as an inventory log, climbing product evaluation form, a self test, a ‘sign up’ sheet so that employees can enroll for the course.
