Radar Detector Laws - Europe
The laws surrounding the ownership and use of radar detectors vary from country to country throughout Europe. They range from being completely legal in some countries, through to prohibition on the other end of the scale.
As illustrated below, the majority of countries ban the actual use of radar detectors (even though possession of the equipment may be legal). Much of this is due to the strict driving laws implemented in European countries, which are among some of the tightest driving laws in the world.
Buyers are also advised to check with their own country's authorities on the ownership and use of jamming equipment.
