Discount Paintball Equipment
How do I find discount paintball equipment?
Paintball is not a cheap thing to be serious about. But if you look at online stores you can actually find some discount paintball equipment at almost wholesale prices. Does this mean it is "cheap" equipment? Well no, what it actually means is that it could be expensive equipment but you are getting a discount from the price that you may have to pay elsewhere for the equipment.
However, whilst you are getting a discount, you are also going to find that shopping online has some disadvantages. For instance, you are not able to examine the equipment that you are buying before you actually pay for it, and also you will need to wait a while before you actually get the equipment in your hands, and should something go wrong you could find it a bit of a hassle to fix. So what you can do to get a discount without these hassles if to use the online stores to get yourself a better offline deal.
This isn't easy to do, but it isn't that hard either. Sometimes it can be a very quick process and sometimes it can take longer. But here is how you do it:
Firstly, search the internet to get the best price for the piece of equipment that you want. Then you must print out the actual web page you found that best price on, so that you have some proof with you that the equipment actually cost that amount. Then take this printed page to your local paintball equipment shop.
When you get to the shop, you must ask to talk to the manager. The reason for this is that regular employees do not actually have a lot of authority to make decisions on offering discounts and bargaining with customers. If they say the manager is out, then you should ask when he is back, and come back then.
When you have the manager in front of you, tell him or her that you are trying to accomplish two things: Firstly, you want to support local businesses, particularly his, by buying paintball equipment at that store. Secondly, you also have to look out for yourself and make sure you get the best deal that you can, even though you are accomplishing your first objective.
So you then show the manager your print out and say that this is what you want and this is the price you can get it at. The manager will then either need to match that price or at least make a deal that will work for you. If he or she can do that then great, but if not then you can easily walk away. It's worth a try!
