At a very affordable $1799 you can purchase Hitachi's Home-1 system that utilizes WVGA (854 x 480) resolution and produces 700 ANSI lumens of brightness. The more expensive PJTX100 UltraVision projector retails at around $4000, gives up to 1200 ANSI lumens and uses the detailed WXGA (1280 x 720) resolution to give excellent detail and color clarity. Both models operate in widescreen ratio (16:9) resolutions.
If you are on a reasonably tight budget but still want a projector that is both economic and versatile then Hitachi's range of SVGA projectors is ideal for you. All using SVGA (800 x 600) resolutions they are all lightweight, between 6.5 and 9.9 lbs, and have an impressive selection of cutting edge features. The cheapest projector in this range, the CP-S210, costs a very reasonable $1799 and gives you 1200 ANSI lumens of brightness with successive models increasing in both power and price. The most expensive in this range is the CP-S420 which produces a very impressive 2700 ANSI lumens.
Hitachi's only SXGA+ (1365 x 1024) resolution projector is the CP-SX5600. Highly suited to the consumer who requires a high level of detail in their presentations it comes with quite a serious price tag of $11995 and gives an ample 1800 ANSI lumens of brightness.
Making up the main body of Hitachi's LCD projector line are the increasingly popular XGA (1024 x 768) resolution projectors. These state-of-the-art projectors are specifically designed for use in almost every facet of business or education. At $7495 and only weighing 5 lbs the CP-X328 is one of the cheapest in this range and gives 2000 ANSI lumens of brightness. Mid-range in terms of both price and power are the CP-X870 and CP-X880. The former produces 2000 ANSI lumens and weighs 13.2 lbs whilst the latter gives 3000 ANSI lumens and only weighs 12.6 lbs. At the top of this range are the CP-X1200 and CP-X1250. At around $13000 to $14000 they provide the user with very impressive ANSI lumen ratings, 3500 and 4500 respectively.
