High Sierra Luggage Review

A Sporty Travel Companion

The Cove Island Series

If you lead an action-packed, sporty lifestyle and need the luggage to go with, then High Sierra luggage is right up your alley. Designed for people that lead busy lifestyles, High Sierra manufactures a wide range of luggage types that are of a high quality and relatively low cost.

High Sierra Sport (www.highsierrasport.com) is a United States-based company that originally started out as a surplus army supply store in the late 1940s. They eventually branched out to specialize in adventure travel, becoming one of the largest outdoor companies in the US.

The Cove Island series is packed with all the features that would appeal to any serious traveler: separate packing compartments, tough exterior materials, expanding compartments, fold out garment covers, removable tow straps, compression straps, accessory pockets and sturdy inline skate wheels to name a few. The collection includes pieces such as computer cases, rucksacks, duffels and uprights.

Tradional styling meets adventure travel

While the Cove Island series is more aimed at the traditional traveler, the AT Gear Classic range is catered more towards your avid sportsperson. The large wheeled duffel bags in this range serve not only as great gear bags, but they also can be used to pack clothes in for a weekend away. Whereas the Internal Frame series is geared toward trampers and campers. These are also ideal for people who are backpacking their way around the world, as they are sturdy and practical when users are faced with a range of differing environments.

The M2 range is a more sophisticated collection, featuring more formal lines and attributes. The heavy-duty outer nylon fabric comes in a series of bright colors, with the internal frame being lightweight. The internal components round out the product to provide a functional bag that is practical, yet stylish.

High Sierra luggage is attractive and casual, and comes in a wide range of colors, which is not only refreshing for travelers, but also makes it easy for them to spot coming off luggage conveyor belts.

Priced in the low to mid range, High Sierra luggage will suit the adventurous and sporty traveler – young or young at heart.
