Just when you need that little bit of extra space, all you need to do is release a zip!

The Dakota MTX replaced the Dakota luggage Metro series, and features a range of pieces, including wheeled carry-on bags, wheeled packing cases, soft luggage and business cases in a variety of sizes to suit each customer.

When designing Dakota luggage Tumi included some of the following features to help make each piece versatile and multi-functioning: streamlining, expandability, lightweight, durability, easy to use and organize, understated sophistication, reliability and high performance. Some of the outstanding characteristics include double expansion (from both the front pocket and the main body of the bag); tie down pockets; ticket pockets; add-a-bag sleeves and pockets allowing extra bags to be attached to the handle; and bottom handles which make lifted pieces into overhead compartments easier. Also worth noting on the multiple expansion series is the ‘z-pack organizer’ which is a packing system that folds garments in a Z shape.

Made from strong ballistic weave nylon, this series is highly functional, and includes fine details such as telescoping handles made from high-grade aluminum and sturdy big wheels.
