Spare Tire Bike Racks and Carriers
Tire mounted bike racks are designed for vehicles such as SUVs that have a spare tire mounted on the rear of the vehicle. The spare tire bike rack fits neatly over the spare tire and attaches to a variety of different tire sizes. These racks can also be removed easily when the tire is needed. The spare tire mounted carriers carry the bikes high above the road and exhaust pipes and fit nearly all vehicles with external mounted spare tires, even the ones with the third brake light like the Jeep Wrangler. They are fully assembled and attach in seconds. They have two tie-down straps to secure and protect the bicycles. Most tire mounted bike racks will carry up to three bikes. Some of these racks also offer an optional cross bar to carry "girl" style bikes that do not have the top bar.
