Frames made by Tiffany Studios are some of the most sought-after designs of the framing world. Despite the surprisingly large number of designs to come out of the house of Tiffany, somehow each one looks so unmistakably ‘Tiffany-esque’.

For genuine Tiffany picture frames, look for those that were manufactured between 1898 and 1920. Some of the most famous designs are as follows:
Nautical and Zodiac motifs and figures (usually in gold color)

Grapevine and Pine needle patterns (usually with a dark sheen used with green glass)

Venetian and Ninth Century designs (finished in gold)

Chinese and American Indian emblems and patterns (tends to have a dark green or brown patina)

Other classic Tiffany frames include stained glass designs and silver embossed frames.
