If you are framing a standard-sized print, buying a ready-made picture frame is probably the cheapest and easiest ways to go about it.

If you are unsure whether or not your print is of a standard size (which can range from as small as 4 x 5 to larger sizes of up to 36 inches), see our size section to see a list of the most widely available industry’s sizes.

 

If you are unsure whether to buy ready-mades or to tackle the job yourself, bear in mind that making a picture frame can require a lot of tools.
