Of course, there is one big down-side to having your frames made up to order and that is the cost. Commissioning a custom-made frame can be highly expensive, depending on your exact requirements. To keep costs down, opt for a basic design in an inexpensive wood, such as oak or pine, or consider buying low-cost ready-made frames instead.
