Betty Boop, made her screen debut as a cabaret singer in a 1930’s animation called ‘Dizzy Dishes’. Although Betty’s appearance has changed somewhat since the early days – much to the disapproval of many of her fans, we might add – the screen siren continues to win over hearts across the globe, despite the fact that she hasn’t appeared in an original cartoon for well over sixty years!

And today, despite competition from sophisticated and life-like animation characters, the Fleischer Studios heroine is more popular than ever before.

All manner of trinkets and collectables of this leading lady can be found on the market, from Betty Boop picture frames, storybooks and posters to cheeky paper weights and water domes.
