DF410S 45cm, ‘AAA’ Rated Dishwasher, 10 Place Settings

Smeg’s DF410S is a high performance dishwasher; ‘A’ rated for each of Energy Efficiency, Washing Performance and Drying Performance. Unlike the majority of available 45cm dishwashers, that can wash a nine place setting load, the DWF410SS can wash a ten place setting load, thanks to Smeg’s clever redesign of the interior baskets.

Fully clad in stainless steel, the DF410S is operated via smart controls on the drawer front style fascia control panel. A smart electronic display confirms the options selected and advises on salt / rinse aid status. The user can select from 9 programmes and the appliance washes at 5 temperatures. As befits a state of the art appliance, the dishwasher enjoys a high specification with regard to safety. ‘Total Aquastop’ - an electronic device fitted to the water intake hose – monitors water levels, detects leaks in the hose and switches off the water supply immediately when necessary. Air fan drying can be selected to ensure thorough and hygienic drying of the load once the wash is complete.

Especially innovative is Smeg’s Shuttle System, which enabled the appliance to secure its ‘A’ rating for wash performance. This advance consists of an arm that holds and shuttles the spray arm from the front to the back of the tank, overcoming the problem of equal spray distribution posed by a rectangular shaped tank interior.
