Features - Whirlpool Gold and Portable Models
A Whirlpool dishwasher is a good option if you want to buy a reliable fully integrated or semi integrated machine for less than a thousand dollars. The styling may not be as sleek as some of the high-end brands, but they do offer value for money.
There are twelve different Whirlpool dishwashers to choose from, 10 under-the-counter models and two portable. Most of the models are available in black, stainless steel, white and biscuit finishes.
Popular Whirlpool Models
The Whirlpool Gold is the top of the range model. It comes with a super capacity stainless steel tub, five-level wash, temperature and pressure sensors, hard food disposer with self-cleaning filter, quiet partner sound package, 5 cycles, delay wash option, glass express 30 minute cycle and it has an Energy Star Rating.
Nearly all of the Whirlpool dishwasher range is Energy Star qualified, but make sure you check, because some of the less expensive models don’t qualify. Dishwashers that have qualified for the rating conserve at least 25 percent more than the minimum Federal standard.
Other Whirlpool energy savings features include an option called “No Heat Dry”. This feature turns off the heat during the drying segment of the cycle. The dishes will come out a bit damp, but they will air dry with the door slightly ajar.
If you want to purchase a Whirlpool dishwasher online (Gold or otherwise), you can visit the official Whirlpool site at www.whirlpool.com. Whirlpool has partnered with authorized retailers to sell products online, so you just need to punch in your zip code to find the closest retailer to your location.
