Maytag Dishwasher Review
Features - Jetclean and Portable Models
Maytag dishwashers are good middle of the road dishwashers. Their most expensive machine is cheaper than some of the standard KitchenAid or Bosch models and their most basic model is extremely affordable if you need a new dishwasher but you’re on a tight budget.
Jetclean Rack Dishwasher Review
The Maytag Jetclean II Three-Rack Dishwasher is their top of the line model. As the name suggests it has three racks instead of the standard two, which offers more options for loading hard-to-fit items. It has a tall tub which provides enough space for 14 place settings and they claim it offers more active cleaning jets than any other brand.
The Jetclean II Three-Rack Dishwasher also has an Energy Star Rating which means it exceeds guidelines set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and US Department of Energy. However, unlike some of the other brands, not all Maytag Dishwashers qualify for the Energy Star Rating, so make sure you check which models qualify.
At the other end of the range, the Maytag Dishwasher model MD3700A is one of the least expensive models. It has all the basic functions but doesn’t have a stainless steel interior or many of the advanced features found in the more expensive models.
All of the Maytag dishwashers including portable models are available in white, black and bisque and the more expensive models can also come with a stainless steel exterior. While stainless steel looks great, beware that every small greasy finger mark does show up very easily.
Maytag have partnered with several online stores so you can buy your dishwasher online by visiting their site www.maytag.com. If you would rather shop the old-fashion way and visit a store there is also an international dealer locator on the website to help find the closest store to your location.
