AEG has done its fair share of washing and drying dishes over the years. Advanced Engineering from Germany (AEG) first started pumping out dishwashers in 1966. Since then AEG dishwashers have come a long way from the days when the standard machine sounded more like a jet plane taking off than a domestic kitchen appliance.Some of the advanced AEG dishwasher range ( Favorit 80820, Favorit 80860i and Favorit 86050Vi models) now comes equipped with new noise reduction technology. With a noise level measuring only 43dB, they are supposedly quieter than a boiling kettle. However, be prepared for a bigger price tag if you want a machine that is big on being quiet.
Other advanced AEG dishwasher features that deserve a mention include: Turbo fan drying, advanced fuzzy logic, quick 30 minute wash and interior illumination light.
The turbo fan drying feature helps to increase air circulation which reduces drying time. Advance fuzzy logic uses two sensors in the dishwasher to calculate the size and soiling of the crockery. The machine then electronically fine-tunes the chosen program to suit the specific needs of the wash load.
The interior illumination light feature, lights-up when the door is opened making it easier to see what you are doing when loading and unloading.
As the name suggests the quick 30 minute wash is ideal if you need to wash a load of dishes quickly if you are hosting a dinner party and need to use the starter crockery for desert.
If you are too afraid to put your long-stem wine glasses in the dishwasher in case they come out resembling a sherry tumbler, the AEG long-stem wine glass holder could put your fears to rest. This feature prevents breakages by providing extra support for glasses and it can be folded away when not required.
